Flor y Canto: Poetry Reading

An afternoon of poetry and music, in the Australian Garden. Hosted by Aideed Medina: CNP Alumna, poet, and spoken word artist.

Indigenous Song and Drum: Amah Mutsun Nation UwiSmak Woman's and Children Singers. Lead by Elder Lorraine Luna, Teacher of Sacred Songs. 

Featuring poetry of: Elizabeth Rodriguez, Adela Najarro, Adela Castillo, Christina Olague, Chris Cuadrado, Marie Butcher, and Arnoldo Colibri. 

Sacred Poets: Rica De La Luz & Joseph Jason Santiago Lacour.

Open mic to follow program. Open space for lawn chairs, picnic blankets, picnic baskets, and the muse!

$10 General Admission (garden entrance & parking included), $5 for UCSC students with valid ID.
