This evergreen mounding shrub stays small, growing about 2 feet tall and spreading to 3-4 feet. Best in full sun in well draining soil, it is a tough, low maintenance drought tolerant plant hardy to around 25°F. The silvery foliage makes it attractive year round plus small red and cream flowers decorate the plant in springtime. The Arboretum just started offering it for sale in 2017.

Grevillea ‘Cherry Royal’ Growing to 2 feet tall and 3 feet wide, this small grevillea came from a seedling that appeared in our Australian garden about ten years ago. It is a wonderful plant to grow in dappled shade where its brilliant red flowers in winter and spring will attract hummingbirds to your garden. It is hardy to about 25°F and drought tolerant once established. This grevillea is a Koala Blooms/ UC Santa Cruz Arboretum plant introduction.
