"Thank You" to Arboretum and Botanic Garden Native Plant Volunteer Leader, and California Naturalist Instructor, Linda Anderson and her Coastal Prairie Volunteers!

The volunteers participated in a "mass planting of grasses in the Native Conservation Garden" on January 20.

The volunteers were planting Mellica torreyana bunch grasses.

Volunteer Event in the California Native Conservation Garden Saturday, January 20, 10 am to 2 pm

Come one and all! It is time for a mass planting of grasses in the Native Conservation Garden! Last year’s grasses are flourishing but we have thousands more to plant out and we need help 💪🌱 If it rains we will work in the new improved seed house; there is ALWAYS something that needs doing! RSVP please and a light lunch will be provided 😋
