Bird Tours

Birding at the Arboretum:

The Arboretum gardens provide a uniquely attractive habitat to a wide array of resident and mirgratory bird species. Be sure to check out our information page: Birds of the Arboretum

Tours:

Birds and Blooms tours are back for the summer! Bird language coach Jeff Caplan is just back from travels and will lead Arboretum tours about South Africa and Australia. These tours are kid and family friendly, bilingual in English and Spanish. Tours are scheduled for Tuesdays in July with the hope that we can offer more tours in August - TBD.

Bring binoculars and wear comfortable shoes. Tours begin at 9:15 am in the Visitor Parking welcome area and can last up to two hours. Allow yourself a little extra time to get to the Arboretum during construction and repairs to our main entrance. See the MAP and DETOUR Directions.

The Birds are here everyday!

We highly encourage you to explore birding on your own anytime of year. We will offer one or more hummingbird-focused bird tours during our Annual Hummingbird Month, every March. Learn more about Hummingbird Month
